Is this available to US residents only?
No. BPG promotions are open worldwide where not prohibited by United States and/or local laws, rules or regulations. Prohibited countries include, but are not limited to, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, India and any country embargoed by the United States and where not prohibited by US or local laws and regulations. However, some of our Sponsored Promotions are US Only, please see official rules before entering.
Is this affiliated with Facebook?
No. BPG promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing information to Big Prize Giveaways, LLC and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used to administer this promotion.
My zipcode won't work. Is this only for US residents?
If you reach the page that asks for a "zipcode" or to "fill out a form" or "complete a survey" or "make a purchase" then you are already entered to win and left our promotion by clicking on an ADVERTISEMENT. We DO NOT ask for zip codes.
How do I know if a link I see is an advertisement?
After you enter the contest, we have text at the top of the page that says "Thank You For Entering! Please take a moment and consider the offer below." This is an advertisement.
How exactly do I enter?
Just follow the steps below:
  1. Tell us the name of a friend you would also like to see receive a prize if you win. Most people enter the name of the person who told them about BPG but you can enter anyone (or check the box to list no one if you prefer).
  2. Click "Enter me to win!"
  3. You can publish the story to your feed (optional) so your friends can play too.
  4. Make sure you "Like" Big Prize Giveaways.

  5. You will be prompted to install the Big Prize Giveaways Application. The app is used to post winner notifications, handle customer service and update you about new drawings.

    This is only required once and you will not be asked to do this when you enter future giveaways.

    If you just installed the app for the first time or you haven't entered a promotion in a while, we'll ask you for your e-mail address. We ask for this to meet the Facebook promotion guidelines regarding winner notifications, but we won't share it or sell it. Please see our privacy policy for more details.

That's it, you're entered. After this simple entry process is complete, you will likely see an advertisement. Clicking on this advertisement is optional and will not increase your odds of winning.
I have entered Big Prize drawings before, and never had to install an app. Why has this changed?
Originally we used Facebook messages to notify winners; however, Facebook recently released new promotional guidelines prohibiting this method of winner notification. Our app was created to help us comply with these guidelines and it will also allow us to make things even better going forward.
Why am I being asked for my e-mail address?
We made this change to comply with new Facebook promotion guidelines. We won't share or sell your e-mail address. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
How many times can I enter?
You can enter most drawings once a day but please refer to the official rules as this may change from time to time. If you enter more than once for any particular day, we'll only count your first entry.
Does commenting on a post or clicking "Like" help your chances of winning?
No, the winner is randomly chosen from the eligible entries. Commenting or clicking "Like" on a post has no bearing on your odds of winning. Please note, however, that you must "Like" Big Prize Giveaways to be eligible to win.
Has anyone ever won anything from Big Prize Giveaways?

How are the winners chosen?
At the end of each sweepstakes, the winners are randomly chosen from all eligible entries.
How do I redeem my prize when I win?
You are responsible for checking the winners list after each drawing and contacting us with your shipping information however, we will also attempt to notify winners using the e-mail address you provided when you entered and we frequently publish the results of all drawings on our website and social pages/profiles.
Will you contact me?

We will attempt to contact you via the e-mail address you provided upon entering. If the e-mail address you provided isn't valid, you are responsible for checking the winners list after each drawing. If your name is on the winners list simply visit the Big Prize Giveaways app on Facebook and you will see a simple shipping form to complete (this form will only be visible to winners). We cover all shipping costs and we will never ask you to send money in order to claim a prize. Please note that US Residents will be required to complete an IRS W-9 form if your total prize value exceeds $600.

If we're not able to get in touch with you within seven days of the drawing, you may forfeit your prize. Please see the official rules.

Why do some of the winners appear to be related, i.e. same last name?
Remember that when you enter most BPG drawings you can enter the name of a friend who will also win if this entry is selected as the winner; many people choose to enter the name of family members and they often share the same last name.
When I entered my friend's name to win with me, their name didn't appear in the share box. Why doesn't this happen anymore?
Due to some changes with the Facebook platform, we no longer include your friend's name as part of the share post. However, if you are entering your friend's name when you enter, we are still keeping track of it. The only change is how it appears in your News Feed.
